By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

This applies to both Debian Stretch and Debian Buster.

When trying to rip a Video DVD with K3b, I see the following warning:



K3b uses transcode to rip Video DVDs. Please make sure it is installed.



There is no official transcode package for anything newer than Debian Jessie, and I am unable to find a 3rd party package repository providing it. This leaves manual compilation as the only alternative to obtaining transcode.

If the TDE packages for Debian are considered officially supported by the TDE project, then I would recommend either including transcode in the TDE repositories, or pushing to have it re-introduced into the main Debian repositories.

Transcode was patched for build with the current version of ffmpeg and added to Trinity build-deps repository.
