By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Here's a very strong rationale why you could consider it:

1) Currently your renamings make compiling applications and libraries not offered by the TDE project impossible for most people and this includes both old Qt3 based and KDE3 based applications. It's unlikely you'll ever port them all and then it doesn't make a lot of sense.

2) It will be easier for distros to follow your changes. I can make an educated guess that's the primary reasons distros are eschewing TDE altogether. Right now e.g. a patch from qt-x11-free-3.3.8b to tqt3-trinity-14.0.10 is enormous because filenames and internal classes names are all renamed. With these changes reverted patches for Qt3/KDE3 will become a whole lot smaller and easier to revise.

3) Your changes render Qt3/KDE3 old documentation invalid.

4) Your changes don't allow you to change the licensing terms of any of the underlying projects. It's GPL/LGPL anyways.

Please do not close this report right away, take it slow and think about it.
