TQtinterface breaks direct compatibility, so yes, that is an overriding reason. Also for the kipi-plugins, they don't look maintained upstream to me anymore. Realize that we'll be still pulling patches from upstream should we need to, but Trinity has diverged significantly from the original codebase. Also I would like to mention that the "upstream" sources are changing VERY slowly, and in many cases not changing at all, making it a rather bad idea to pull from a known dying source. |
