By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Compiler Version: TDE Version String: 3.5.12

Description Jan Heidbrink 2010-10-14 04:24:24 CDT
When I try to add an "addressbook on IMAP server via kmail", nothing happens. There is no error, but the addressbook won't be added neither. When trying to add an "calendar on IMAP server via kmail", I get the error message "Unable to create the resource" (Window-Title is "Error - Kontact").

IMAP groupware functionality would only work after running the groupware wizard.

Is this report still valid?

Addding of IMAP elements works without needing to run Groupware wizard AFAIK in R14.

Thank you. Are you saying the original problem has since been resolved?
Comment 5 Martin Hodges 2013-05-23 14:34:30 CDT
I first reported this for 3.5.12. The bug may still be present in 3.5.12.
I have not noticed this bug in 3.5.13 or R14.
This may be that I have not had to set up my accounts from a virgin account for a while too. Although I recall that I have done the creation of my accounts from scratch on R14 and there was no problem in doing so.

(Off topic)Setting up accounts for disconnected IMAP with remote calender and addressbook is still a bit odd requiring tdepim-tderesources-trinity- inuitively named -NOT.
The wizard has its own package tdepim-wizards-trinity and is the easy way to get things working if you have nerves of steel to use KOLAB. Why not at least mention IMAP on the button.
Why does the wizard talk about a KOLAB server? I suggest that some of the texts in the Wizard be expanded to explain what a KOLAB server functionality is- any mail server with an IMAP4 interface..

Short answer: YES.
