I find this also very annoying, I have several accounts where I am only allowed to check mail every 15 minutes. For each mail I want to only send, all those accounts respond with error messages. Gerhard I find this also very annoying, I have several accounts where I am only allowed to check mail every 15 minutes. For each mail I want to only send, all those accounts respond with error messages. Gerhard I was looking for the origin of the reported bug and I found this patch: http://git.trinitydesktop.org/cgit/tdepim/commit/kmail?id=33e649c9e80e36ec0a02d7f6dca06417a4887ada I guess that it is what causes this behavior. But from the the commit comments I do not understand why it was included? Created attachment 488 [details]

Tim, Do we want to reverse this patch? I am not an IMAP user and can't test. (In reply to comment #5) > Tim, > > Do we want to reverse this patch? I am not an IMAP user and can't test. Yes we do. Users of TDE (understandably) don't like it when their computer knows better than they do. ;-) Patch reversed in GIT hash 2d5f15c8. This resolves the bug report. Thank you! |
