By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Fresh install of Intrepid x86_64 on a Dell notebook. I followed the installation instructions on ubuntuforums to install kubuntu-desktop-kde3. The package manager had a couple complaints about recommendations that it couldn't complete, one of them being adept-kde3. I installed anyway, and have a mostly working KDE 3.5 desktop. (Unfortunately, I didn't save the initial warning messages...) The current problem I'm facing is I'm unable to install the KDE3 version of adept and updater: =================== [chrono:~]$ sudo aptitude install adept-kde3 Reading package lists... Need to get 1451kB of archives. After unpacking 2724kB will be used. The following packages have unmet dependencies: update-notifier-kde: Depends: adept but it is not installable The following actions will resolve these dependencies: Remove the following packages: update-notifier-kde Leave the following dependencies unresolved: apport-qt recommends update-notifier-kde Score is -441 Accept this solution? [Y/n/q/?] ========================= I also wanted to thank you for the effort you've put into this project. It's unfortunate that the Kubuntu team has seen fit to abandon KDE 3.5 so prematurely. This issue is basically my only problem with the current KDE 3.5 packages, any help would be appreciated!
