some more traces..
gosh, how did this happen? these traces belong to id415. how can I delete the attachement or move it to bug id 415? Please provide more detailed information on what the problem actually is, including the symptoms caused by the problem :-) Thanks! Some programs (tork, kaudiocreator, etc.) are still looking for the kde3 package of this and related dependencies, not the tde version. Unfortunately the fix is not quite this simple. Over time, TDE has been changing the API and ABI of the core libraries, which means that 3.5.13.x is the last version of TDE that is semi-binary-compatible with KDE 3.5.10. Starting with R14.0.0 KDE 3.5.10 programs will need to be ported to TDE nd compiled against tdelibs to function. However, the news is not all bad. You can file request for packaging bugs on this bugtracker for any old KDE 3.5.10 programs you want to see included in TDE. Simply include a link to the latest program source tarball, and/or the last Debian/Ubuntu source packages that were released. |
