By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Description Paolo Saggese 2011-02-10 12:00:17 CST
Hi,

In the VPN configuration of knetworkmanager, under "Optional information" tab there is the option to use the VPN only for a given list of IP addresses (ranges).

That's very important: most of the time you'll want to go through the VPN only for those destinations within the VPN itself, not the whole internet! (that is, *usually* you don't want your default route to be changed...).

Unfortunately, that option does not work: you enable it, add the address, then save the config but nothing is actually saved. If you get back to the config menu, the option is always deselected and the address(es) field empty. :-(

BTW: since we are here, I also have a suggestion for a possible enhancement: add another (simpler) option to just "keep default route" (as there is in some other VPN interfaces such as IIRC kvpnc) and only automatically add routes for the VPN network(s) as provided by the server. That would be much more "novice friendly" than the existing one (nevertheless, do not remove the existing "manual" option: more advanced users may still need it anyway).

Tnx a lot for your attention. Please let me know if I can help.

This looks like a duplicate of bug report 1530. Tagging as much and closing due to age.
