By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Failed to check for installed and available applications

This is a major failure of your software management system. Please check for broken packages with synaptic, check the file permissions and correctness of the file '/etc/apt/sources.list' and reload the software information with: 'sudo apt-get update' and 'sudo apt-get install -f'.

Synaptic reports:

E: /var/cache/apt/archives/libkipi0-kde3_0.1.5-2intrepid3_amd64.deb: trying to overwrite `/usr/share/icons/hicolor/22x22/apps/kipi.png', which is also in package libkipi6

I have tried the above steps, I have also tried to manually remove conflicting "kipi.png" file, to no avail.

I am unsure what to do next. Please advise. . .

An update has been performed that should have fixed this issue.  If this issue still exists after you update your system, please reopen this bug with the new information.
