By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Description Nick Leverton 2011-10-26 12:53:37 CDT
When making a multi-line form entry in konqueror, whether it's free text box or a selection list, the contents of the entry become invisible after focus leaves the box in question. They can only be brought back by clicking in the box (but then another entry probably goes invisible).

Also, if scrolling the page up/down takes a multi line box off the screen, when you scroll it back on the contents will again be invisible.

This seems to be a nasty one, but I'm sure you'd have noticed it in testing. I hope it won't turn out to be driver dependent. What other lib versions do I need to tell you ?

kdelibs version 4:3.5.13-0debian9+r1260762+pr12~squeeze

You are correct; I haven't noticed it in testing and I do suspect that it is graphics driver dependent. What graphics chip do you use?
Comment 2 Nick Leverton 2011-10-26 18:14:09 CDT
I have an Nvidia GeForce 8400 GS, using nvidia drivers 275.28 (backported to Squeeze) and xorg 7.5.

I can try nv, let me get back to you. Could try nouveau too at the risk of having to upgrade xorg as well to cope. I don't use them normally as they both make the video card run very hot.
Comment 3 Nick Leverton 2011-10-26 19:02:19 CDT
Confirming still happens with nv on xorg 7.5 and with nouveau on xorg 7.6 backport. Kernel is 2.6.39-bpo.2-686-pae.

I do see it now in Konqueror.

Can you run a regression test against SVN?

This bug is in KHTML--I am running a regression test sequence now.

Traced bug to changes in kdelibs/khtml/rendering/render_replaced.cpp made between revisions 1214735 and 1215518.
