By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Description Nick Leverton 2011-10-27 06:45:01 CDT
As subject - middle-click for paste still works in Konsole and Kate (to name but two) but, since 3.5.13, it no longer works in Konqueror.

Expected behaviour: (1) in khtml text fields, it should just paste the contents as normal for X.
(2) On Konqueror's page background or any tab, it should behave like drag-and-drop (activating the pasted URL) or performing a web search if it wasn't a URL. On a blank area of tab bar it should do this in a new tab.

A workaround of course is to use the context menu for the time being.

In fact, middle-click in Konqueror seems generally non-functional. A middle click on a URL hyperlink should open that URL in a new tab - this no longer happens either. The mention of pasting may be a red herring in that case.

I have "middle click opens URL in selection" enabled, in case the general behaviour depends on that.

Works for me on my test system with the latest packages installed.

Can you verify that this is not a configuration issue on your end?

Cannot reproduce on a new user ID with the same binaries, all works as expected. Still a problem on the original user ID though. The settings to do with tabs and middle-click are the same on both. Strange - I'll look further into it.

Solved - mouse gestures were capturing middle-click. Apologies for the noise.

Seems I'm not the first person this has bitten in KDE 3.x, although I don't know why I didn't have the problem prior to my 3.5.13 upgrade. However it might also explain the other KDE state issue I mentioned which was related to the middle button apparently getting "stuck" down.
