By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Using /opt/kde3/bin/kbuildsycoca, from kdelibs4c2a-kde3, to build the menu tree, and then after installing Opera, there is no menu entry for Opera.

Now, Opera _does_ install /usr/share/applications/opera.desktop, and the file  _does_ includes a line "Categories=Application;Qt;Network;...", and this should be enough to create a K Menu menu entry.

After much trial and error, I have discovered that _any_ .desktop file that has the filename "opera.desktop" will NOT appear in the menu.  And, simply changing the name of the opera provided file to, say, "operaa.desktop" creates a normal menu entry.

... just changing the filename... ok, that seems very strange.  I tried reading through
 http://standards.freedesktop.org/menu-spec/latest/
but didn't find any obvious explanation - and I don't like the many many many levels of indirection used in the XML.

Is there anyone who knows more about the Desktop Menu Specification who could suggest how to track this down?  It seems almost easier to believe in some conspiracy to hide the Opera Web Browser from the user.

This works with a current version of Opera. I am going to assume it was an 
error on the opera end.

This works with a current version of Opera and Trinity 3.5.13. I am marking
