Confirmed. Running from Konsole presents this message: QFile::open: No file name specified BTW: the binary name is ktuberling. Created attachment 210 [details]
Fix ktuberling failure to load picture
Patch works but there is no sound. As far as I can tell from strace, ktuberling finds the sound files but they don't play. Created attachment 214 [details]
Updated patch
Found a few more inadvertent changes to the "tq" prefix.
Recompiled but still no sound.
Correction. Yesterday the sound did not work --- in a virtual machine, although other apps using sound in the virtual machine worked fine. Today after testing in an actual physical machine, the sound for ktuberling works there and in the virtual machine too. No explanation. Okay, now I have an explanation. I do a lot of TDE testing in a virtual machine as root. The VM is sandboxed and running as root often saves time for testing only one change and I need not worry about permissions getting in the way. Ah, never mind, I'm not going to justify running as root. Anybody who doesn't like that can find a tree to bark at. Anyway, there is no sound when I run ktuberling as root but there is sound when run as normal user. :) It appears that this was fixed in R14.0 via an automated script during the renaming project.
