This would probably also apply for konversation. Maybe you could give me a more extensive description of how this is suposed to work. Are you thinking of a simple addon like RSS, which is displayed in a sub-window, or do you wish for more complete integration? kopete has already some support for kontact (IM-addresses are stored in kaddressbook, as well as the avatar images) I' currently more working on bug-fixing than on new features, but maybe it is simple to do, and i find some time to actually do it. I'm thinking more complete integration, in a layout similar to Konversation with the contacts to the right and ongoing messages in the middle. Perhaps 4 or more conversations depending on user preference and screen resolution, then switch to tabs when there are more than that. Konversation would probably be good to integrate too. I was actually thinking that Kopete integration would provide IRC in Kontact, but IMO Konversation is much better for IRC than Kopete. Let's just hope that people don't ask for KVIRC integration ;-) I noticed that this is marked as NEEDINFO. I am wandering what additional info is needed? Basically I just don't have the time to do it. I'm marking it as NEW again. |
