Is this bug still valid? (In reply to Michele Calgaro from comment #1) > Is this bug still valid? I am unable to reproduce this bug in R14, my keyboard's volume buttons seem to correctly mute/unmute/change the volume. > I am unable to reproduce this bug in R14, my keyboard's volume buttons seem to

Also on my system I have no problem. Given the bug is very old and there has been no feedback from the original reporter, I think it is fare to close this bug. If the problem happens again we can always reopen.
What do you think?

I concur, however I will leave it up to someone else to change it: we could mark it as FIXED or WORKSFORME, depending on whether or not it there was an actual code fix related to this in TDE. Closing WORKSFORME. This may not have even been a TDE bug; a malfunction in any of several other system components (Xorg, alsa, etc.) could have caused this. I do seem to recall (a long time ago) some soundcards having alsa driver issues where mute was unmuted and vice versa, so who knows. |
