By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Description Vladimir Kanazir 2011-12-01 03:44:15 CST
Kdemenu crashes when I try to open System submenu. It happens every time and it takes kicker with it. It also happens when I try to open it from menu editor.

System is Ubuntu 11.10 (Oneiric). Trinity is installed from provided repository. There was Gnome classic active before installation of Trinity.

I can't locate dbg package on the repository, so I can't send you backtrace :(

Hey,

I'd like to get a backtrace on this, the package should just be called gdb, it's at least that in 11.04.

I am fairly certain this is related to bug 554 and once we can get a backtrace we will know for sure. At that point we can mark it a duplicate unless it is a different issue.

This is going to be resolved in R14.

Unfortunately, I can't get the backtrace :( This is the message I got:

This backtrace appears to be of no use.
This is probably because your packages are built in a way which prevents creation of proper backtraces, or the stack frame was seriously corrupted in the crash.

Just to make things clear, it only crashes when "System" submenu is accessed. The rest of the menu works fine.
