By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Bug 767

Summary: TDEFilereplace: move to tdeutils or tdebase

Description Darrell 2011-12-26 13:08:10 CST
KFilereplace has the potential to be a useful utility for many people. Unfortunately the utility is packaged with kdewebdev rather than kdeutils or kdebase. Many people do not install the kdewebdev package. By moving KFilereplace to kdeutils or kdebase more people would find the utility.

Good idea, I support it.
Comment 2 Darrell 2015-01-22 23:49:17 CST
Update summary.
Comment 3 Michele Calgaro 2015-01-23 16:41:42 CST
tdeutils is probably a better place, tdebase already contains a lot of packages.
Comment 4 Michele Calgaro 2015-01-27 03:47:59 CST
Fixed in commits e9638a3 (tdewebdev), 08f2b58 (tdeutils) and 18d0862 (packaging).
Comment 5 Michele Calgaro 2015-01-28 23:14:23 CST
Looks like the Help handbook is no longer available after TDEFileReplace was moved to tdeutils, at least in Jessie.
Reopening the file until the issue is resolved.

Darrell. could you confirm/deny the problem either in Slackware or Fedora? Thanks.

Comment 7 Michele Calgaro 2015-01-29 02:19:41 CST

Sorry, I did not see the email request until today.

Yes, no handbook but now fixed with the latest commits. :)

As you are focusing on updating tdefilereplace, would you please look at bug 2264?
