Hey, some of us like "old." :) To the devs, this enhancement request is similar to other KPersonalizer requests: Bug reports 247, 248 Perhaps KPersonalizer is due for a new coat of paint. At least a good detailing and wax job. :) Hi, There is no problems with those who like old things, but all the themes available should be in the list. Maybe icon themes too? KPersonalizer is launched at the first TDE use. For the new and upcoming R14, I personally think that it does not give the user a clue at all that TDE progressed from what it was 10 years ago. I'll try to work on newer pictures for it. Thanks! -Alexandre The old Ark Linux (not Arch!) contained a couple extra options in KPersonalier. Most notably, one was a variant of the Mac OS option that used the Baghira theme (not sure about the keyboard shortcuts or any specifics in the UI adjustments). If you guys are interested, I can try to retrieve the patches from the SRPMs, however someone else will need to adjust them for TDE (they are for KDE3, and I'm not yet experienced in C++). There is a plan to get new artwork in R14.1, R14.2 and R14.3 progressively. We will get there, slowly :-) |
