Do you have a $KDEDIRS location set? Also search your system for files named katepartui.rc. Being unable to modify the toolbar once happened to me. I had a katepartui.rc file in a $KDEDIRS location that was overriding anything I tried to do. :) Possibly you might need to delete the katepartui.rc located in your $KDEHOME/share/apps/katepart. I have seen that file get corrupted. Confirmed. I cannot reorder anything with 3.5.13 SRU. The order does get remembered, but the changes do not appear. Calvin Confirmed on current GIT sources Changing status back to NEW for too long inactivity (In reply to Michele Calgaro from comment #3) > Confirmed on current GIT sources Can you post reproduction instructions? I think I know what is meant by this report but I want to be certain before modifying anything. Thanks! It took me a while to be able to reproduce this again. It seems the problem is not affecting all icons, but only some. For example many icons can be moved around and the toolbar gets updated. Some others instead, are added/removed from the toolbar correctly, but the position is wrong and does not change at all. Try this: 1) open "configure toolbars" 2) select "main toolbar <katepartview>" (the last toolbar in the list) 3) in that toolbar I have undo/redo icons. Moving those around works fine. 4) select (for example) "find next" and add it to the toolbar, in the last position. The icon is correctly added 5) move the icons to another position in the list and click "apply". Nothing happens in the toolbar, the icon is always at the end. 6) Close and reopen the "configure toolbars" dialog, select again the same toolbar. Notice the position of the "find next" icon is "correct", i.e. it is in the position where it was last set. But the position of the icon in the toolbar is again wrong. The same happens is the icon is not added at the end of the list. |
