By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Description Julius Schwartzenberg 2012-05-30 13:32:12 CDT
The provides of python-sip are incorrect for Ubuntu Precise (nightlies).
Right now they are:
Provides: python2.7-sip, sip-api-7.0, sip-api-7.1

The Precise repository has this package with:
Provides: python2.7-sip, sip-api-8.0, sip-api-8.1

Packages that depend on instance sip-api-8.1 from the Ubuntu repository are uninstalled now when forcing python-sip to be upgraded.

This is quite an old bug and likely dependencies have changed by now.
I am closing the bug.
Feel free to reopen it if the same problem persists.
