I do not see this on my system. Do different themes create the problem?

I don't know. I don't think I am using any theme because when I select Theme Manager in kcontrol none of the options are selected. I really don't know know how to tell which theme I might be using. I never have been into eye candy and possibly I'm not using one.

Sorry I meant Qt3 Styles. With my style it works fine, maybe with others it becomes truncated?

What style are you using?

I tested Plastik and Keramik and the text remained truncated.

That one's for weirdos...
When the Decoration options (themes) gets crowded with new themes then the QListview expands and the text is correctly displayed once the app is restarted.
One cheap trick could be to change the order of the "KURLLabel - TQLabel" instances and adjust the text accordingly.

I'll fill with additional themes to get the QListView expanded from the start, see how It goes.

This has been fixed in commit 92f501274 (R14.1) and 7a79951f0 (R14.0).
