By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Description Francois Andriot 2012-08-01 12:48:56 CDT
Hello, on Mageia 2, the "imlib" library is now version 2.x , and it looks like kdegraphics only detects version 1.x (files have been renamed).

I do not know yet if the current Tdegraphics code could support imlib2, so that we only have to change Cmake scripts...
Comment 1 Francois Andriot 2012-10-06 03:18:52 CDT
It looks like imlib1 is required for kuickshow.
I've managed to install an old imlib1 package on Mageia 2 to workaround the problem.

Now I have the problem on openSUSE 12.2 : it does not provide imlib1 nor any of its dependencies (glib1, gtk1 ...)

Is this report still valid?
Comment 3 Francois Andriot 2013-11-24 23:50:42 CST
Yes, as long as you build Kuickshow, imlib1 is still needed AFAIK.
Comment 4 Michele Calgaro 2014-03-05 09:47:35 CST
In Debian/Ubuntu, imlib is one of the extra dependencies required.
Current version is 1.9.15.
You can download source code from here:

https://quickbuild.pearsoncomputing.net/~slavek-banko/+archive/deps-r14/+packages?field.name_filter=&field.series_filter=jessie&field.status_filter=published&start=0&batch=150

Look for the source tarballs, no need to download the .deb files.
On Debian/testing, it builds without problem and kuickshow does as well.

Update Kuickshow to support imlib2 is one of the post R14.0.0 tasks.
