By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.

When I try to paste a magnet link into Ktorrent, it displays the following error:

Could not start process Unable to create io-slave:

There is no magnet support in Trinity's version of KTorrent and there are no plans to add such support for now I guess.

There are sites that no longer provide a .torrent file but instead only provide magnet links. That doesn't make much sense, but because of this, magnet support is needed.

It makes sense with some jurisdictions, but unfortunately it can't be easily support in Trinity's KTorrent. Most likely this will be solved when Trinity will gain integration with the KDE4 successors of its applications.

If you are really interested, it might be possible to backport this feature from a newer KTorrent version.

Personally I wouldn't support that. There's nothing saying that KDE4 apps can't be run within TDE as long as the needed libs are installed, but I don't think there should be any integration.

I'd attempt it myself if I knew how to program. Unfortunately, I don't, and it's currently not high on my priority list (I won't be able to devote a lot of time to learning for a couple of years).

I tried to load a torrent, and it claimed it was corrupt..
The best long term solution, would be to use libtorrent as the back end....
