By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Description Hans van Buitenen 2012-08-24 16:17:43 CDT
The Trinity system does not warn about limitations when running on a system that also contains a KDE4 installation.

I did this, at first not aware of what i was doing, later i realized that many binaries have the same name and that this must cause conflicts.

Since trinity is likely to be compared with KDE4, this situation is likely to occur.
I fixed this by removing KDE4 and doing a re-install of all trinity packages (from lxde)

I'm not sure how to approach this situation, it could be done with a console dialog during installation like for instance gdm does when multiple desktop managers are present.

There have been many patches applied in the upcoming R14 release to avoid those potential conflicts. 3.5.13 does not contain those patches. 3.5.13.1 might, but Slavek would know more about that.
