By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Description Darrell 2012-09-05 20:52:50 CDT
When running kdebugdialog to enable a single option, the result is kdebugdialog creates a user kdebugdialogrc file with every option enabled.

This overwhelms the xsession log and defeats the ability to watch the single enabled kdDebug area.

The resulting kdebugdialogrc file inherit the default options as the system default with the only difference being the single change.

I tried this on my machine, but I don't see this behavior (besides the fact that I haven't got the debug messages to work so far)
If I enable only one option, in my user kdebugrc file I see that option set to 2 (which means "shell") and all other options set to 4 (which means "none").

Darrell, is this bug still happening on your system?

Not that I can tell.
