By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Description nightfighter 2009-10-29 19:47:39 CDT

English translation for reference:

I have today a new version with the Karmic Kubuntu KDE 3.5.10 Desktop
loaded.
Network Manager finally working!

Then I tried to install KRezepte and Knowit too.
Both require kdelibs4c2a Library.
This is installed as kdelibs4c2a-kde3 version.
Nachzuinstallieren tried it, the available version kdelibs4c2a,
This collides with kdelibs4c2a-kde3, the process is aborted.
Kdelibs4c2a-kde3 to uninstall and reinstall the kdelibs4c2a,
almost disappears, the whole KDE3 desktop.
Since I need both programs, however, it would be nice if someone
hinbekäme!

Unfortunately I have no experience as a bug detector.
Therefore, it would be nice if someone rewrites this item so, or advise that
It is the spirit and fits into a Bugzilla.

One more thing:
I think it would be great if someone would again make the effort, the program
Ktagebuch integrate again.
I had managed to get it running on Ubuntu 8.04.2 to. But
Unfortunately, no idea how.

I have uploaded knowit-kde3 to the archive, but I was unable to find the KRezepte package anywhere.

Could you provide a download link to the debian source package, or at least to a source download page?

Thanks!

Hello,

I tried to install kdissert it seems to fail for the same reason :
---
---

On another hand, it seems to somehow break the kmymoney2 (kde4) installation too :
---
---

I'm on Karmic by the way.

Thank you for your effort to port kde3 to the latest ubuntu distrib anyway :)

Is this report still valid?

>I tried to install kdissert it seems to fail for the same reason :
kdissert has to be imported and converted to the Trinity code base. Looks like sources remain available:

https://launchpad.net/debian/squeeze/+source/kdissert/1.0.7-4

If kdissert is a desirable package, please open an enhancement request.

Closing as resolved as the original report was against 3.5.10.
