By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Description Timothy Pearson 2013-01-28 00:58:20 CST
The TDE Menu should include a new user-editable Favorites section, similar to the already present Most Used Applications section. The user should be able to set the priority (i.e. order of appearance) for his/her applications from the TDE Menu Editor.

It would be desirable to allow the user to remove or set the priority of items from Favorites via the context menu of the favorite menu items items. It would also be desirable to add an Add to Favorites entry to the context menu of all other menu items within the TDE Menu.

FYI: KDE4 has this option. Works real nice. Perhaps some code snippets can be massaged from KDE4.

Currently the information is already stored in the TDE kickerrc config file, generated when using the kickoff menu (kickerrc [menus] Favorites).

Well, 10 years later I still would like to see this option.

Seems this should be one of the "Optional Menus" in the TCC configuration. The TDE menu context menu definitely should provide an "Add Item to Favorites" option. As already mentioned, the kickerrc file already contains a Favorites list if the kickoff menu is used.

The difference with an explicit Favorites list rather than Most Recently Used or Most Frequently Used is the Favorites list is static rather than dynamic.

Since the kickoff menu already creates such a list seems the foundation already exists to amend the classic menu.
