By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Description bugzilla 2009-12-18 11:41:47 CST
A CPU-hogging problem is caused by setting Pager Options | Background to Desktop Wallpaper. The culprit is kdestop-kde3. The excessive CPU usage only occurs when using Desktop 1, on desktops 2 - 8 there is no problem.

Changing Pager Options | Background to Elegant or Transparent eliminates the problem.

On a new install, I can't set Desktop Wallpaper setting to Transparent - it won't checkmark. The problem above occurred on an upgraded system that was originally set to Transparent.

Reminder for Tim: "About that time [a month ago] I was heavily reworking the desktop and pager to fully support Compiz (multiple viewport wallpapers and all) and I ran into the same problem with the Desktop Wallpaper option that you did. Apparently it is still broken;"...

This was caused by a wallpaper refresh loop between the pager applet and kdesktop. It should be fixed in SVN revision 1107570.
