By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Description Francois Andriot 2013-04-28 12:47:45 CDT
Hello, when configuring ARTS to use ESOUND support, it does not work out of the box. When playing a sound, it just hangs and no sound is played.

To make it work, see link below:
http://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/Software/PulseAudio/Documentation/User/PerfectSetup

It looks like the problem is with the fragment size (-S parameter).
When using anything lower than 4096, it fails.

arts: removes harcoded 4MB buffer size.

After messing a lot with Arts, I've found that the ESD plugin expects 4MB fragment to work, it is hardcoded.
The attached patch fixes this issues, now ARTS plays with any fragment size with ESD.

Fixed in GIT hash 0b9bcf1f and also in v3.5.13-sru branch.
