By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Description Alex Couture 2013-05-08 20:07:56 CDT
This problem is seen on TDE 3.5.13.1 (on any distro) and on R14 nightlies on Ubuntu 13.04

When I go in the ''Storage media'' bookmark, if I plug/unplug a usb key or, basically any change in the mounted/unmounted or present/not present state of any storage device or partition, the changes aren't followed by Dolphin, and this even if I click on the ''Home'' bookmark and then return to the ''Storage media'' bookmark. The only way to update the list is to press F5 or to click on View - Reload.

In Konqueror, these changes are followed and immediately visible, but not in Dolphin.

A first step to at least improve this behaviour would be to refresh the storage media list when the ''Storage media'', but ideally it should be updated every time a change happens in the storage medias.

Other smaller details regarding Dolphin (or I should say D3lphin):

-The free space bar added to TDE by Tim is not seen in Dolphin.

-The default right-side sidebar should be set to ''Information'' and not ''Bookmark'', because as it is right now at the first time Dolphin is started, it has 2 times the same ''Bookmark'' sidebar.

-Seeing the Storage media list right in the ''Bookmark'' sidebar, just as it is on newer version of Dolphin, would be great.

-In more long term, it would be interesting to have tabs in Dolphin, just as in the newer versions.

I don't know if some of the improvements could be backported in D3lphin from the KDE4 version of Dolphin? It's sure that this program was made at the very end of the KDE 3 era, so it was still pretty basic, if it is compared to newer versions of Dolphin.

Thanks!
-Alexandre
