By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Description Darrell 2013-05-12 13:35:15 CDT
When amarok is already open, selecting an audio file in konqueror and double-clicking (default is amarok) or selecting Open With... (amarok) results in nothing happening. The launcher feedback just spins.

If amarok is not already started then amarok opens and plays the file, but only that one time.

The bug was confirmed in a dev mail list discussion. The bug likely is a glib main loop or TQt3 threading issue.

According to information from Jonesy, a problem also observed in the branch 3.5.13.x, where the glib main loop is not in QT3.

The problem should not be related to glib main loop.

Right, this is a regression introduced some time ago which is quite repeatable and is not, IMHO, related to the threading or glib event loop changes in R14.

Okay.

Amarok is a popular app. I added this bug report to the R14.0.0 etherpad road map and am tagging as a regression.

Looks like this bug has been around a long time. I can duplicate the bug in 3.5.13.0 but not in 3.5.10. So the bug was introduced after 3.5.10.

This bug should be resolved in GIT hash 7e397d2 (tdelibs).

Thanks for reporting!
