By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Description Kris 2013-08-12 08:02:00 CDT
This occurs after a random number of suspends -- sometimes 1, sometimes 3, but always 5 or less.

After resuming, some of the text will disappear or become corrupt (e.g. replaced by symbol-looking things that can't be read). The text includes buttons in dialog boxes, title bars, and tabs in browser windows.

Hello, I often suspend-to-ram (more than 5 times before actual reboot) my Centos6 box and never seen that issue.
Do you have any proprietary driver installed (nvidia, amd) ?

I use the open source intel driver. I'm not using an xorg.conf, so Xorg auto-configures at each boot.

I see the same thing on my Intel laptop, though in my case pixmaps are also corrupted. I should note that the corruption also affects Iceweasel on that machine, so I doubt this is a TDE-specific issue.
Comment 4 Kristopher 2014-11-21 22:34:55 CST
This bug seems rare (bug still present) in R14 when allowing Xorg to auto-configure my video settings, and seems completely non-existent when I manually add a /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/01-intel.conf to enable the tear-free and sna-rendering extensions of the intel driver. This suggests that Timothy may be correct in assuming it this isn't a TDE-specific bug.

Tentatively marking NOTOURPROBLEM. If this appears to be a TDE bug in the future please reopen this report.
