By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Description Martin Hodges 2013-11-01 04:38:19 CDT
tdepowersave reports tdeinit_tdepowersave.so: cannot find file or object (or something like that). Not very helpful.

It turns out that the error is caused by the presence of HAL.
This is a laptop that has been updated sporadically. HAL does not get removed by anything when upgrading from Debian Squeeze to Wheezy.

Recommend that HAL is included in conflicts list.

Actually the problem is a missing call to ldconfig on package installation. Removing HAL causes ldconfig to be called, thus masking the problem. ;-)

This should be fixed in GIT hash eb71832 (tde-packaging). If not, please reopen this bug report.

Thanks for reporting!
