By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Description Darrell 2013-12-12 16:07:00 CST
In the Configure Panel Menus dialog, selecting the Apply button abruptly closes the entire dialog. This does not happen in the other Configure Panel config dialogs. This bug was first reported in comment 10 of bug 1733.

The dialog does not abruptly close in 3.5.13.2.
Comment 1 Darrell 2013-12-12 16:09:21 CST
The dialog does not close abruptly when accessed through kcontrol.
Comment 2 Darrell 2013-12-12 16:23:37 CST
Update: in 3.5.13.2, looks like some options abruptly close the dialog and some options don't. For example, toggling the menu style or side image will close the dialog.

I noticed all these things as well. I didn't report a bug because I think this is intentional because kicker restarts itself. For example changing the menu style is one of those things.
Try this:
1) kill kicker
2) launch kicker from console prompt
3) right click the menu button and change the menu style. Kicker process is kill and a new kicker is automatically spawned

Example output:
#> kicker &
[1] 17907
#>

Here change the menu style.

[1]+ Done kicker
#> ps -lA |grep kicker
5 S 0 17938 1 17 80 0 - 67489 - ? 00:00:02 kicker
#>

You can see the kicker PID has changed from 17907 to 17938.
