By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Description Darrell 2014-01-16 21:45:17 CST
The desktop device icon popup menu offers an option to Safely Remove the device. Although on modern systems icon removal is quick, on older systems a progress dialog might be nice. Might be nice even on fast systems.

The tdeio-umountwrapper package has such a progress dialog, but the tdeio-umountwrapper must be called manually to invoke the dialog.

A GUI option check box for the dialog could be placed in Configure Desktop->Behavior->Device Icons.

What's This help tooltip:

Selecting this option presents a progress dialog when safely removing devices from the desktop.
