By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Description Timothy Pearson 2010-04-19 02:06:46 CDT
/opt/kde3/bin/kcheckpass must be installed suid root to enable login with cached credentials, e.g. with Kerberos.
Comment 1 Darrell 2013-04-05 16:29:21 CDT
/opt/trinity/bin/kcheckpass is still installed suid root. Is this report still valid? Is this report a bug or an enhancement request?
Comment 2 Timothy Pearson 2014-05-22 17:05:07 CDT
Not sure why this is still open; kcheckpass has been installed SUID root for many releases now.
