By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Description ivanwyc 2008-12-23 08:51:56 CST
The system $LANG is set correctly in /etc/default/locale. But after entering a KDE sessions LANG is unset. I need to manually edit /usr/kde3/bin/startkde to reset the LANG.

the same here in jaunty
Comment 2 Kjella 2009-07-20 11:39:24 CDT
I can confirm this issue on Jaunty, installed KDE3 remix with en_US.UTF-8 but in KDE3 the locale command returns POSIX and it creates trouble for my digikam database as well, which reports that my locale has changed to ISO 8859-1.
