By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Description Darrell 2014-03-24 15:44:13 CDT
Trinity first builds a new tdesycoca cache before displaying the splash image. This delay creates the illusion that Trinity might be stalled. On some systems this delay might be lengthy yet there is no feedback or visual help that all is okay.

The effect can be seen with existing profiles --- just delete the tdesycoca files before starting Trinity.

Seems a simple solution is to move the tdesycoca code to some place after the splash image appears.
