By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Description Darrell 2014-06-19 22:21:49 CDT
When I insert an audio CD, a standard Trinity dialog appears asking me what to do. When I select "Play Audio CD in Amarok," Amarok opens but a yellow popup error message appears with the following:

Attempted to insert nothing into playlist.

With the audio CD inserted, in Amarok when I select File->Play Audio CD I receive another popup:

Could not read AudioCD

I see the same popups when logged into Trinity as root.

------------------------------

In Amarok, when I select File->Play Media, and in the Location box type 'audiocd:/', some dialogs appear, the playlist pane shows 'from /' in the Title column and audiocd:/ in the Directory column, and then I receive the following popup error:

Error Loading Media

No suitable plugin plugin. This often means that the
url's protocol is not supported. Network failures are
other possible causes.

audiocd:/

------------------------------

I can type audiocd:/ in the konqueror location bar and see the cd contents.

------------------------------

With the desktop Audio CD icon, when I select Play from the popup menu I see the following kdialog:

Error - Play

CD-ROM read or access error (or no audio disc in drive)
Please make sure you have access permissions to:

false

------------------------------

I can play the audio cd with kaffeine with no problems.

If others confirm these bugs then the bug report should be added to the R14 check list. Playing audio cds is fairly standard these days on any computer.
