By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

The default panel cannot be removed, there  is no option on the right-click menu or Control Center. For those who prefer a more "Mac Claasic" style desktop, this can be an annoyance.

A workaround is to hide the panel, however the "hide button" is still visible and can sometimes get in the way. Auto-hide is another workaround, however this can also grt in the way: trying to resize a window from the bottom or an accidental bump to the bottom of the screen can cause it to reappear and get in the way.
