By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs

Config of action when hardware is plugged in has several problems introduced in R14:

- the config is not migrated, when I plugged in hardware that had special actions in 3.5.13 they are not shown any more
- the functionality to define an action when a mass storage (hard disc) is added is no longer possible

Are you talking about this: TDE Control Center -> Peripherals -> Storage Media?

Actually, I was talking about plugging in some hardware and then pressing "Configure" in the window that automatically opens.

But you can reach the same menu like you described.

In the "Configure Storage Media" you can press "Add". Anyway, whats missing there is the "medium type" for external harddisc. The "Unmounted Removeable Medium" seems to not work with it.

Uhm... sounds quite strange to be honest.
Is there any difference in behavior if you use an external hard drive or a usb stick?
Also, if there is any useful screenshot, please upload that.

It seems like there is a difference the type trinity assigns to the devices: I tried with 2 external usb hard discs that both do not show up as usb stick.

screenshot: I already ticked "do nothing" as default actions for hard discs, so I do not get a popup for these devices anymore.

The issues you describe are probably due to the upstream deprecation of HAL (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Halsectomy); while the TDE hardware library was written to regain most of the lost functionality there are still a few places where robust identification of device type is not feasible due to the underlying udev / udisks system.  It sounds like you have hit one of these areas.
