By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Description Darrell 2015-01-23 00:27:52 CST
I am using the latest GIT with the recent libvnc patches.

When I connect TDE krdc to a remote vino server, I see a block outline rather than a mouse pointer.

When I connect TDE krdc to TDE krfb I see the same block and no pointer.

When I connect MATE and remmina to a remote TDE krfb I see a white mouse pointer but with the same block outline at the pointer tip --- yet the remote system is using a black pointer.

When I use KDE krdc to connect to TDE krfb, I see a white pointer with no block outline attached, yet again the remote system uses a black pointer.

When using TDE krdc, selecting the "Always show local cursor" option makes no difference.

Resolution: at least show an actual mouse pointer rather than a block.

Ideally: show the remote system's actual pointer, if possible.

After thought: I seem to recall the block appearing with 3.5.x. I don't know that showing a mouse pointer ever worked correctly in KDE 3.5/TDE.
