By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Description deloptes 2015-05-16 18:32:59 CDT
Package: konqueror-trinity
Source: tdebase-trinity
Priority: optional
Section: web
Installed-Size: 5646
Maintainer: Timothy Pearson <kb9vqf@pearsoncomputing.net>
Architecture: amd64
Version: 4:14.0.0-r1865-0debian8.0.0+pr169

In order to be able to mount/unmount disks etc I had to do two things.

1. follow the https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=650299

and set the section '<action id="org.freedesktop.udisks.filesystem-mount">' to be '<allow_any>yes</allow_any>' and '<allow_active>yes</allow_active>'

2. I noticed that if I plugin the cell phone it gets recognized as camera and I am missing the option to unmount it

To solve this I add in

/opt/trinity/share/apps/konqueror/servicemenus/media_unmount.desktop

media/camera_mounted

at the end like this

X-TDE-ServiceTypes=media/removable_mounted,......,media/dvdvideo,media/camera_mounted

Now it is perfect.

Emanoil,
what is the status of this bug? Do you still have to do the same actions to mount/unmount disks and phones correctly?
Thanks
Comment 2 deloptes 2016-09-24 13:24:53 CDT
Both entries
/usr/share/polkit-1/actions/org.freedesktop.udisks.policy
<action id="org.freedesktop.udisks.filesystem-mount">
 ...
 <allow_any>yes</allow_any>
 ...
 <allow_active>yes</allow_active>
</action>

and

/opt/trinity/share/apps/konqueror/servicemenus/media_unmount.desktop
[Desktop Entry]
X-TDE-ServiceTypes=media/removable_mounted,media/removable_mounted_decrypted,media/cdrom_mounted,media/cdrom_mounted_decrypted,media/cd-r_mounted,media/cd-r_mounted_decrypted,media/cd-rw_mounted,media/cd-rw_mounted_decrypted,media/dvd_mounted,media/dvd_mounted_decrypted,media/floppy5_mounted,media/floppy_mounted,media/hdd_mounted,media/hdd_mounted_decrypted,media/nfs_mounted,media/smb_mounted,media/zip_mounted,media/vcd,media/svcd,media/dvdvideo,media/camera_mounted

are still present and I do not experience any problem with it.
I now checked tdebase/tdeioslave/media/services/media_unmount.desktop . Entry is there
I think Slavek patched it already.

$ dpkg -S /usr/share/polkit-1/actions/org.freedesktop.udisks.policy
udisks: /usr/share/polkit-1/actions/org.freedesktop.udisks.policy
$ dpkg -l | grep udisks
ii udisks 1.0.5-1+b1 amd64 storage media interface

Looks like we can close the bug.

Note: My version here is already on git

Closing the bug

Thanks.

Actually, media/camera_mounted was added to /opt/trinity/share/apps/konqueror/servicemenus/media_unmount.desktop in commit 6fd7171 by Tim.
