By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Description Rainer Gassen 2015-05-29 19:44:55 CDT
Hi,

I'm running R14.0.0 on Trusty 14.04.2 and have a problem with print previews in Kate and KWrite. At first I get the following message:

###
The file format text/plain is not directly supported by the current print system. You now have 3 options:
TDE can attempt to convert this file automatically to a supported format. (Select Convert)
You can try to send the file to the printer without any conversion. (Select Keep)
You can cancel the printjob. (Select Cancel)
Do you want TDE to attempt and convert this file to application/postscript?
###

At that point I choose 'Keep' since the printer (HP Envy 5534) can't print PS. So far no big deal, just a minor nuisance. The bigger problem (but maybe connected to the first one) comes right after that with this message:

###
Preview failed: unable to start program KTextEditor Word Completion Plugin. Do you want to continue printing anyway?
###

Clicking on 'Print' starts the print job which comes out perfectly fine, but I never get a print preview. The same error messages appear when I choose PDF output or another printer.

Running the same procedure with a different user account didn't change anything; I also tried the preliminary builds of 14.0.1 but the problem persists.

Any ideas?

Here is some additional info. Today I installed the german language file tde-i18n-de-trinity and now something very interesting happens: I still get an error message, but instead of the previous 'unable to start program KTextEditor Word Completion Plugin' it now reads 'unable to start program KTextEditor-Plugin for KDataTool' (translated from german).

BTW all the mentioned plugins are listed in the program's options and it doesn't matter if they are checked or not.
