By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Description Michele Calgaro 2015-07-31 02:19:55 CDT
It would be a nice addition to Kate to have a panel listing the available sessions. The panel would be similar to the Documents panel but would list sessions instead of open documents.

To decide whether to make the panel a "default" panel (like Documents and File System Browser) or an "on demand" panel (i.e. provided by a separate plugin, the user can choose whether to install it or not).

I have started preliminary work on this.

Just for info, I am slowly working on it. Looking good so far, but still many things to do.

Session panel is now available, but there still some thigns to fix up.
1) update handbook
2) when a session is closed with Kate open, at the next login two Kate windows are shown instead of one

Other things that require fixing:
1) clean up session files of unused entries (extra docs, extra windows)
2) add mouse right click popup menu to session for session actions
3) Kate session menu in main TDE menu does not show the sessions in the same order as in Kate
Comment 5 Michele Calgaro 2018-07-02 09:21:02 CDT
Commit 828bd2ad fixes the restoring of multiple main windows. Two more problems found during this investigation (that will need to be fixed):
1) if "save last session" is set, when shutting down/logging out without closing Kate, the session is not save. The session is saved correctly when closing Kate in the normal way.
2) When switching between sessions with different number of main windows (MW), the number of windows is not handled correctly. For example going from a 2 MW session to 1 MW session, the second MW is not closed.

This has been fixed in commit 232282cb.
