By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Description Kristopher 2015-08-30 10:53:59 CDT
This is a carry-over from R14.0.0, and is one I experienced awhile back on Debian Wheezy and CentOS 7 (now on CentOS 6). I don't have a 3.5.* installation to test on, so I cannot see if this is a regression or not.

After installing WINE and subsequently using it to install a Windows application, clicking the TMenu button then hovering on the Wine submenu causes the entire desktop to hang and become completely unresponsive. The Wine submenu never appears.

Switching to a VT and running top reveals that the kicker process is using all of my CPU space that is not occuppied by other applications (anywhere from 70% to 100%). Switching back to my desktop sees that icons, text, etc. do not appear and that each window (including the panel) replaces their contents with their respective background colors -- as if the applications that own those windows are unable to re-draw themselves. I can't take a snapshot of this because the desktop is too unresponsive to do so.

The only way out (short of a cold reboot) is to switch to a VT and run

killall -9 -g -w kicker

then log back in to my desktop (killing kicker from a VT seems to force Xorg to restart itself).

This is a problem with SVG files. It has been solved in two steps.
