By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Description M@trixX 2016-06-24 12:44:42 CDT
"Default applications" settings category is not shown in "Trinity Control Center" application, only in "system settings", where I only discovered it only by accident. I expected to find this option in Tcontrol, as it used to be in Kcontrol in KDE3. It should be trivial to include it there.

Trinity release R14.0.3 on Ubuntu 16.04.

Anyway, having two control centers, loading mostly to the same config screens, seems a bit pointless.

"Default applications" is available in the category "TDE Components" if you are using the standard Trinity Control Center.

Can you post a screenshot for additional info?

This problem is related to Ubuntu versions of TDE. Slavek is going to push a patch soon (basically just need to remove a disabling patch from the packaging repo).
While analyzing this problem, we also found that using the search function in the control center sometimes gives duplicated entries for the same item.
Let's add this issue to this bug report as well.

Fixed by GIT commits 90aa3dfa (master) and 452e4d38 (r14.0.x).
