By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Description Felix Miata 2016-08-10 20:50:21 CDT
Plymouth destroys traditional vtty behavior and thus is unwanted bloat. In order to prevent the bloat, plymouth, plymouth-system-theme and plymouth-scripts are added to skip.list. Plymouth is not required in either openSUSE or Fedora, and all my openSUSE and Fedora installs exclude it. task-plasma5-minimal in Mageia 5 does not depend on plymouth (installs ~277 packages, including task-x11 if not already installed, while plymouth* are in skip.list). Thus, trinity-tdebase should be able to install on Mageia without Plymouth, yet, it refuses. cf. trinity-tdm has no such requirement.

urpmi from journalctl

From this fresh minimal Mageia 5 installation, the attachment is the entire urpmi command history that eventually provided a TDE session to select in TDM, and enabled startx to start a TDE session. Which package actually tipped the scale I don't know, but apparently the Plymouth-dependent trinity-tdebase package is not the only means to getting a minimalist TDE installation installed.

Hello, in order to get Mageia wallpaper/icons, I added dependency to 'mageia-theme-Default' package in tdebase.
This theme package requires plymouth, that's why you get plymouth installed alongside TDE.
