By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Description wofgdkncxojef 2017-08-25 12:14:57 CDT
Like the title sais. add some space between close window and maximize/restore. This was a little feature in a kubuntu i think, i don't remember witch one.
And it's easy to do....

Move to R14.1.0 bug list.
This is an additional feature that requires a new config option to enable/disable the behavior (different users have different preferences).
Comment 2 Michele Calgaro 2018-05-21 08:25:36 CDT
Sorry, ignore my previous post.
The feature is already available and does not require any code change.
In TDE control center -> Appearance & Themes -> Window decorations, select the "Buttons" tab. Then you can drag a "--- spacer ---" item between the buttons on the tabbar and create the required space.
I believe this is what you are talking about.

Please confirm it is ok to close the bug as invalid.

Yes, i know you can do that.
I was proposing to make this the default config.
It doesn't brake the bank in term of effort,
that's why i added it in 14.0.5 list

Thanks for the suggestion.
After discussing with Slavek, we have decided not to make any change on this item. The reasons being as follow:
1) there is already a way to achieve the required functionality if needed, so a user can customize the separator space to fit his own needs
2) changing this may trigger most of the other users to ask to change this back.

For the time being we are closing this bug. If there is a discussion on ML and most of the user base prefer to have the separator in place, we can revisit this :-)
