By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

6. Log out of TDE.
7. Log back in to TDE.
8. The hardware monitor is there again. Go to step 2.

Are you talking about the TDE hardware device monitor? I can't find a K hardware monitor on the systray otherwise.
Just to make sure I understand.

It is tdehwdevicetray.
But it calls itself a hardware monitor.

As far as I know, tdehwdevicetray is new for R14.1.x and still needs some work to complete.
